Quinton Narkle x Reel Brand

"When first sitting down to paint this piece I knew there were certain memories I would use as inspiration for my design. The main being the very fond memories I have of my family's yearly camping trip to Collie; here is where a lot of my core childhood memories were made. The painting signifies more then the recreation of fishing itself, it tells a story of people coming together from different walks to fish, yarn and make memories. A way for friends and family to keep close, check in on one another and relieve stress.

In the painting you'll see the meeting place in the top left corner where everyone has gathered near the water. Patrick & I included the barramundi and the giant trevally, being fishes from different waters, to reflect how we all share the deeper meaning of fishing and understand the importance of coming together.
